THE SECRET PLACE : Understanding Psalm 91
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the
shadow of the Almighty
— Psalm 91:1
We have a twin challenge:
Turbulence: The last days promise to be turbulent: earthquakes, famine, pestilence (Matthew 24:7), along with wars and rumours of wars;
Fearlessness: Yet, despite all this, the Lord commands His disciples to not be afraid (Matthew 24:6 – See that ye be not troubled). In fact, Scripture tells us 63 times to ‘fear not.’
Challenge: How can we be fearless in light of these earth shaking events that will cause
people’s hearts to melt?
ANSWER: We partner with God through His Word, and this includes Psalm 91. It is your insurance policy in all things personal and communal.
Prudence means careful consideration and planning for the future. We need to be future-ready, future-friendly, future orientated. Psalm 91 is a key all these things. In ‘The Secret Place: Understanding Psalm 91’ you will learn about:
